1. Service Scope
- All waterproofing work will be carried out as per the agreed quotation or work order.
- Any additional tasks requested by the client that are not part of the approved scope will be charged separately.
2. Site Access & Utilities
- The client must ensure proper access to the worksite during working hours.
- Water, electricity, and safe storage space for materials/tools must be provided by the client.
- Sara Waterproofing is not responsible for delays caused by restricted access or missing utilities.
3. Materials & Workmanship
- We use approved, branded and suitable waterproofing materials unless otherwise specified in writing.
- Any request to change materials after the work has commenced will be considered an extra and charged accordingly.
4. Payment Terms
- Work will begin only after receipt of the agreed advance payment.
- Balance payment is due on completion of the job and before handover.
- Delays in payment may lead to suspension of work until payments are regularized.
5. Project Timeline
Estimated timelines are provided in the quotation. Actual completion may vary due to weather conditions, site access, curing times, or unexpected structural issues.
6. Warranty & Guarantee
Warranty coverage varies by service and will be stated on the invoice or warranty card.
- Warranty is void if the treated area is modified by third-party contractors.
- Does not cover structural movement, fresh cracks, or natural forces.
- Improper maintenance by the owner voids warranty.
7. Post-Service Leakage & Inspections
If a leakage issue covered under warranty occurs, Sara Waterproofing will inspect and rectify as per warranty terms. Non-warranty issues are chargeable.
8. Safety & Liability
- Clients must ensure safe working conditions at the site.
- Not liable for damages due to natural disasters or pre-existing structural defects.
9. Cancellation & Termination
- Cancellations after material procurement or work commencement will incur charges.
- Completed work must be paid on a pro-rata basis if the client cancels without valid cause.
10. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be settled through mutual discussion, failing which Chennai courts will have jurisdiction.
